Mitchell Beer

Mitchell Beer, CMM is President and CEO of The Conference Publishers Inc., a firm that has produced summary reports, overnight newsletters, and online content portals for more than 3,000 conferences, in more than 200 communities, since its formation in October, 1984. He is co-chair of GMIC's conference programme committee, and joined the organization's board in July, 2009.
Beer served as project manager for MPI’s study of the economic impact of meetings and events in Canada, and produced the MPI white paper on onsite learning strategies, based on key sessions at the association's 2007 Professional Education Conference-Europe. He is currently a member of the APEX Standard Review Council.
